The Lives and Livelihoods Fund aims at food and nutrition security through smallholder poultry and aquaculture production, and to increase the economic empowerment of smallholder producers, and small and medium enterprises.

It aims at creating jobs and increasing employment opportunities for women and youth as well as increasing the income of smallholder fishers and their livelihoods.

The project will have vital contribution in alleviating poverty and reducing economic disparities in rural communities.
