Duration4 years from effectiveness
Optimal nutrition of women and children during the critical first 1,000-day period helps ensure that children reach their full physical and cognitive potential, resulting in higher incomes as adults. The project will reduce economic inequality and enhance the livelihoods through improved delivery of quality health, nutrition, and WASH services for households and communities. The project emphasizes community ownership and solidarity through community planning, accountability, and peer support.
Enabling people to lead better lives
We believe the most effective way to create an impact is to empower countries to do so themselves. We help break down the barriers that prevent individuals, organizations and governments in the lowest income countries from obtaining the resources they need to accomplish this goal.
