The project will increase the access of urban households in ten priority towns to safe and hygienic sanitary services. The project will adopt an innovative City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) approach to ensure effective human excreta management that safeguards the urban enviornment, including underground water and soil. Blending techonology with the principles of enviornmental stewardship, the project will focus on treating faecal sludge up to a rate of 512 m3/day, in addition to the management of household waste up to a volume of 605 ton/day.
